you have 3 membership options:
1. Collegiate – Choose this if you have two years or less left in college ($20 per year).
2. Collegiate to Career – Choose this if you have two or more years left in college. It gives you automatic professional membership for a year ($50 one time fee during college). You will just have to login to renew every year without making a new payment.
3. Joint – Choose this if you plan to join American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), or Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) (discounts are available).

Our student chapter does not have any local membership dues. To become a member of our chapter, all you have to do is sign up as a SWE national member and choose the University of Houston-Downtown as your university (section C090). Registration is available at www.swe.org
